What we actually think.
This isn’t a blog, and we’re not interested in posting reactions to whatever AI story broke this week. This is where we set out what we actually think, in enough depth to be worth arguing with: the ideas that sit underneath everything AI Citizen does, made public so they can be tested, challenged, and built on.
The founding white paper
Our founding white paper sets out the full case for AI Citizen: why the usual framing of “AI literacy” falls short, what we mean by an AI Citizen, and why we think this is one of the defining questions in education right now.
It’s coming soon, and this is where you’ll find it when it’s published.

Essays and provocations
Alongside the white paper, we’ll be publishing shorter pieces that take on specific questions in more depth. To start:
- Assisted but not autonomous: what happens to judgement when AI does the thinking firstForthcoming
- Why “AI literacy” was always the wrong goalForthcoming
- The pace problem: what it means to teach something that won’t hold stillForthcoming
What’s coming
As our work with schools develops, this is also where our research findings will live – what we’re learning from the students and educators we work with, published as it emerges rather than held back for a single report. This page will grow as the work does.
